Yasmin Faroog ("Help a novice coxswain")

Hi all,

Within the dialogue about "Help a novice coxswain" Hannes Hofer
did mention Yasmin Faroog and her extraordinary abilities of
communicating to the crew. I can very well imagine, what a
blessing and joy such an enthusiastic, experienced and charming
girl may be for a (male) crew, especially regarding the psycho-
logical effect ! Though it is not comparable, I remember a -
reportedly arabic - saying, that for performing a painful
surgical intervention, you either need 4 strong men holding each
leg of the patient - or one woman holding his hands only ...

Being an Austrian who already has retired from racing, I will
definitely never have the pleasure being in a crew coxed by
Yasmin, but I would like to know, which crews she is (was) coxing.
(Sorry, I did not catch that by briefly reviewing the articles).
I am also interested, who is the coach showing a video with 500m
live-tone of Yasmin Faroog

Please, send public replies, or direct to my mail-address.
Thank you all,
                                          Rainer

Yasmin Farooq is the Cox for the US women's crew (Silver medal winners at
the last Worlds).I think she coxed collegiate at Wisconsin.
The coach who showed the tape was Harmuth Buschbacher, US women's coach and
formerly a national coach for his native East Germany.
Unfortunately, the tape was made specifially for his presentation and is not
for sale to the public.
