At the Victoria Monster Erg you are allowed an initial weigh-in and then a
second one.  No thirds though, I believe.

Next month I will be entering crash-b's as a lightweight.  This will be my
first time erging competitively as a lightweight, as such I am entirely
unfamiliar with the weigh in procedures for lightweights.  I am definitely
going to be close to the 165lb weight limit, and my concern is that centered
around wanting to know before I step  on the scale that I will make the weight
limit.  Are there other scales that are calibrated the same as those that will
be used to determine official weights that I can use at the gym beforehand, or
do I just have to make sure I am under 165lbs when I get to the gym?....or are
you allowed to weigh in initially, hoping you are under the weight limit but in
the event that you are not, are you allowed to come back for a second weigh-in?
Or even a third?  Please help me out on this, I'd hate to miss making weight
over something like this.  Thanks

weigh-in?

Isn't it allways that you can try weighing-in between two and one hours
before your event? That means that if you think you will be close to the
limit you'll make sure you get there at least 3 hours beforehand,
immediately step on the scales for a proof weigh-in and try to make the
weight (by sweating) in that one hour until the weighing opens. Then after
the weigh-in you'll have two hours to replenish your liquid reserves.
