Hi-tech Sculls

Hi-Tech, I believe, were taken over a few years ago by Aylings.  I own a
Hi-Tech scull and it has a "Supplied by Aylings" sticker on it.  Aylings then
made their own range of boats called the Aylings Hi-Tech and then the Aylings
Olympian superceded it. (Although I could be wrong on that last bit)

Think you are wrong - Aylings Olympian pre-dated Aylings Hi-Tech and is
their top-flight club level boat (I think the only one above that in
their range is the carbon ZX-2 and they're a very new design).

I belive most Aylings shapes are copies of other boats...........

eg the four is an ex East German boat. They just added the lip.

Is that true?
