"SEC-Big East Challenge" slipped under the radar?

Apparently, starting in 2007-08, there's going to be an SEC-Big East
challenge, similar to the ACC-Big Ten one, except that there are only
four games each year (each SEC team plays in it once every three
years; no word yet on how the Big East will handle it) - two games
each at a neutral site from each conference.

Three years?  A quarter of the Big East won't even play
in it.  Let me guess, it'll be the four wurst teams.

>From what I can tell, there's not much e***ment at all about this in

the Big East Scout/Rivals boards.   For one thing, only a small number
of teams will play, and there are some really really awful matchups
that generate little to no e***ment.  I guess they're doing it this
way as a trial run, and then might alter the format if needed.

Well, duh, it's the Big East and the SEC.

"If this works, we can do anything!"
