Blue Jays win despite Cito's mistakes

Well, the Jays pulled of an incredible win last night. Five
runs in the ninth capped by a Winfield grand slam. Dave is quickly
making this off season acquisition look like a piece of genius (As
well as making Toronto fans forget the seagull episode).

I continue to be frustrated with Cito's management of his pitching.
To my mind Cito stays with his starters too long. Last night it
was obvious from early on that Morris didn't have good stuff. He
should have been pulled after he'd given up four runs. The middle
relievers need work and even the mighty Morris (right now vying with
ace Dave Stieb for the worst ERA among the starters) needs to be
sat down once in a while.

Miracles like a grand slam in the ninth inning only happen once or twice
a season.

Unless, of course, your opponent is Seattle.  (This kind of thing is getting
all too common here.)
