YAHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Penn State 62, Wisconsin 58!!!  On the road -- Now we don't have the longest
road losing streak in the big 10 either!

Sorry, but like a Northwestern fan on here, I had to get this out of my system!
We've been waiting a Long Time for this!!!

Minnesota on Saturday night -- Lions look for 2 in a row!  I think they can do
it.  DeRon Hayes 2 for 2 in the Lions last 2 possessions :-) :-) :-)

NIT next year, baby!!!

Oh, no.  Here comes the upsurge of emotion from another frustrated cager
fan...

YYYYEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, Northwestern, you didn't think we'd hog up the bottom of the
Big-10(11), did you?  And do the Nittany Lion faithful DARE think about
moving into sole possession of 10th place against Minnesota?????

This team has shown a lot of heart to keep its head up in the face of so
many heartbreaking losses and outright thumpings (and now, this stream
of cliches). Only downside is seeing Wisconsin lose. Stu Jackson a class
act (as always) afterwards, and it would be great to see 7 or 8 Big 10
teams in the tourney. The Badgers still have a shot.

This team has come so far since the beginning of the season, it's
frightening. Too bad the record won't really reflect it. Things are
looking solid for the future with the addition of a real point
guard, Parade All-American Dan Earl, for 1993-94, and the continued
development of Amaechi and Carlton.

I must differ with your assesment of the job that Stu Jackson is doing at
Wisconsin.  He is bringing a winning attitude to Madison, but his team is
nothing short of a bunch of thugs - they have been involved in three fights
this season (including against my Wildcats, where Cedric Neloms was
cold-cocked by Kilbride).  Stu is doing a good job of winning some games, but
he cannot be called a class act until his team doesn't play basketball like
Bob Probert and Stu Grimson play hockey.

Hey, ***, are you capable of watching video tape?  The tape of the
Wisconsin-Northwestern game clearly showed that Neloms sucker-punched
Kilbride in the face, knocking him back about 5 feet.  Kilbride stupidly
retaliated, since at that point Neloms had already been called for the
flagrant foul and would have been thrown out of the game anyway.  The point
is that your beloved Wildcat player started the fight.  If you don't
believe me, I have the entire incident on tape, and would be willing
to send you the thing.

I will grant you that Kilbride and Finley have been involved in incidents
this year, but what are we talking about in "3 fights"?  One incident was
a smart-ass remark Tracy Webster made to Andy Kaufmann, to which Andy
replied "kiss my big white ass", and got tossed.  Hardly a fight.  The
second incident was a little shoving between Webster and Purdue's Porter
Roberts, which Kilbride and Finley got in the middle of.  I've already
discussed the third incident.

Why don't you get the fact before you post this drivel?  I expect it from
Marek, but not other Northwestern students.  My opinion of Northwestern's
academic tradition has dropped markably since reading your post.

No. Wisconsin is still in the Big Ten like Indiana's being ...

Eric, don't be such a bonehead. Neloms gave Kilbride a serious forearm
shiver to the face and Kilbride, stupidly, tried to retaliate. Still,
you can't blame him. Shit, if someone cold-cocked me, suspension or not
I'd probably try to get a couple shots in. If you don't know the facts,
keep your mouth shut and keep from embarrassing yourself.

First Marek and now you. Don't they teach you well-educated students at
Northwestern about researching the facts before condemning someone.

   Jeez...

Wisconsin has a long tradition of winning in hockey using a very rough
and physical style. Stu has merely brought that same attitude to the
basketball court. If other teams don't like it and feel the need to
fight back instead of playing the game, that's their problem.
