That's nothing compared to the news out of Indianapolis, where the
National Federation of State High School Associations have teamed up
with ESPN to start an all-encompassing National High School Boys'
Basketball tournament.  Apparently, it will now be a condition of
membership for any state athletic association that it make its boys'
champion (or, if it does not name a single champion, allow the
tournament committee to choose one team) availble for a national
championship tournament.

The NFSHAS tournament will have 256 teams.  At least one from
every state, and you cannot face a team from your state in the 1st
round.
