Iowa 61  Ohio State 46
Defense was the star for Iowa last night in their last game at St. John's Arena
in Columbus as the Hawks beat Ohio State 61-46.  With an offense plagued by
turnovers and general sloppiness, Iowa relied on a stingy defense and OSU
miscues to take another Big 10 victory and leap to the top of the Big Ten
standings.

Another thing I found interesting...TSN picks the field of 64 (as of January
13, 1998) and lists the following:

Purdue as a #2 seed
Iowa as a #4 seed
Michigan as a #5 seed
Indiana as a #6 seed
Illinois as a #7 seed
Michigan State as a #10 seed.

AOL Real Fans University of Iowa Board Leader,

And after the first round, the big ten will have 1
or 2 teams left.  If Iowa is the 4 seed, then they
will be my upset pick

Interesting spin, considering they found 4 other teams already there
at "the top of the Big Ten standings". :-)

I hope when you say "upset" you mean Iowa upsetting a higher ranked
team.  You do know that a Dr. Tom coached team has never lost a first
round game in the NCAA tournament???

You are saying this because you are a Big Ten expert all of a sudden.
Some Big Ten teams have been upset this year, but for the most part, even
the middle teams have been playing impressive.  But you probably already
knew that, Right?

Evidence for your prognostication please?  Or are you just woofing?
