Mariano Rivera, MVP?

Now, Mariano Rivera doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell of winning
this award -- too much media bias against pitchers in general and middle
relievers in particular -- but I think he definitely deserves
condisderation. The Yanks wouldn't be anywhere near the playoffs without
him, whereas nearly every other player on the team is replacable.

Thoughts?

RANDOM QUOTE:

"You've fallen victim to one of the classic blunders! The greatest is, of
course, 'never get involved in a land war in Asia,' but only slightly less
well known is 'never go against a Sicilian when death is on the line!'"
