Went to an NFL game on Sunday ad every play was replay on the big
screens, even the close/disputed calls. Baseball still has a rule
against this. My understanding is that the umpires have demanded it
because they do not want to be shown up or have the fans incited.

Sorry, I can't remember where you live. Who was the home team? Because
they don't replay controversial calls in the Metrodome.

San Francisco. They showed every close play on Sunday.

That's because in football they have to show the replay because no one
can actually see what happened from the stands.

Depend where you sit. I was in the end zone corner. Needed binoculars
and radio for the far end but had a great view on my end.
By the way, except for the dugouts there is nothing remaining at
Candlestick to indicate that was ever used for baseball.
