I will not bother commenting on Bonds, as I am sick of reading thread after
thread about him in this group, and I don't really want to add to it.

Anyway, the question I want to ask is why people keep misspelling Mark
McGwire's name?  I honestly can not see what is so difficult about it, yet I
have seen it spelt McGuire, McGwyre, Maguire, and even McQuire!  Damn it
people, it really is not that difficult to spell!  He is one of the most
well known active players, yet people are still unable to spell his name.

The same applies to Roger Clemens (Clemons, Clemans, etc).  If they misspell
Nomar Garciaparra I could forgive them, but not these simple obvious errors.

As you can see this has hit a nerve!

You might want to pose that question to Call Ripkin.

That's the *only* problem you had with the post?  If you're just going to
jump right in the boat, people are going to keep trolling you.

Well the obvious reason is because bond's is going to brake the record.
