Falcons Ready for Deion leaving

As a Falcons fan and a Braves fanatic, let me put my 2 cents in..

1) Deion can make more money as a very good baseball player than as a great
football player

2) His career will probably last longer in baseball (ask Bo)

3) The Falcons saw this coming.  Last year they traded for All-Pro cornerback
Tim McKyer, then used their first round pick (#4 overall I think) to draft
cornerback Carl Pickens from Tennessee, considered the best cornerback in
last years draft.  The Falcons first two draft day moves were for
cornerbacks, I think they see Deion playing baseball permanently

I like this distinction between a sport worth following and a sport
worth being fanatical over.  I think I'll use it to describe myself,
if Mark doesn't mind.

All this plus the fact that he'll be playing the greatest sport in the
world, the one in which one can become truly immortal...I mean, who
have more people heard of, Babe Ruth or Red Grange?

(Anybody about to put "Red who?" here don't waste your time, we're
all already thinking of this joke, I'm sure. :-))
