California Angels /David Segui

Hey Buddy!

The Angels wish that they had a player of David Segui's caliber.

This Gaetti Guy? Who is He? A .226 average with 12 homers and 48 rbi's.
                            .267 on base pct.

David "The Lion" Segui!- 1 error compared to 22 for G-man.
                       - 306 on base pct. to .267 for G-man HA!
                       - 23K's for Segui to 79 for Gury!
                       - 0 caught stealing for The Lion to 1 for Gbetto 100%
                        better

Based on those stats alone we KNOW who that the LION is better than Garbonzo
Gbetti (oops Gary Gaetti) or as his teamates alone G-man!

P.S. I bet Cecil knows that Boston Creme is that Flavor of the week at Dunkin
Donuts! And we know where Cecil goes the G-man follows!

If you had been around long enough, you know what I said when the Angels signed
Gary Gaetti.

And no, Segui still can't (and shouldn't) crack the Angels' lineup.  Neither
should Gaetti.

I realize you don't have a clue.  That's quite all right.  But then
WHY THE HELL ARE YOU POSTING???  Or are you trying to be obviously
sarcastic and failing?  Again, I don't see the point...

It *looks* like you are merely trying to be offensive.

Yeah.  Segui played 1B and OF.  Gaetti spend most of the season at 3B.
Guess which position gets the most errors?

True.  Gaetti's OBP has *always* sucked.  Though at least he has
*some* power, unlike Segui.  I'd rate them about equal with the
bat.

This comparison is simply stupid.  Segui had only 189 AB, Gaetti had
over twice as many...  Sure, Segui makes better contact.  but you
can't directly compare their totals.

Huh?  As if this meant anything?

What was the purpose of your posting?  I didn't find it humorous (and
don't think it was meant to be funny).  It's total nonsense, so why
post?

That's 23 Ks in *189* ABs, vs 79 in 456.

I assume this is a joke; no matter how bad Gaetti is (and he's pretty
bad) he's still been better than Segui.

Segui has no power to speak of; he slugged a big .296 this year, *less*
than Gaetti's .342.

And the standards are higher at first base than third, which makes Segui
comparatively even worse.

I'd *much* rather have Gaetti; at least he's old enough so that he'll
retire soon, and no one is going to be fooled into thinking he'll get
better if they just play him a lot.  Segui, on the other hand, has the
potential to be the Orioles *full time* firstbaseman.  Whoopee.
