Goodbye, all!

Goodbye, all!

Sorry to leave a good argument in mid-stream, but I'm out of here.  David
and I are moving to Palo Alto next week, and I have to stop posting and
deal with movers.  I don't have a job out there as yet, so no net access
for a while, but I may resurface eventually.

It's been fun.

The above message appeared last night in a nightmare I had.  It's now
morning and I'm groggy.....

Will someone please tell me that this ain't real?  If Sherri leaves, who
will play the Voice of Reason, the Dogmatic Supportter of Stat, and the
Convenient Online Research Library?  And who will politely whack our
wee-wee's when we say unfounded things?  Tell me, WHO?

Sherri, you GOTTA get access.  GOTTA!

Sherri,

I'm sure that I speak for many, many of us when I say that you'll
be truly missed.

Hope you (a) find a great job, and (b) get back on the net before
very long.

With genuine affection,

Goodbye for now, Sherri...best of luck in PA.

Speaking of which...Stanford Alumnus Robin Ventura - in theory, will he be
starting for the White Sox this year?

In theory, he will be starting.  However, he is from Oklahoma State, not
Stanford.  The Stanford third baseman you are thinking of is probably Ed
Sprague, who the Blue Jays drafted and are converting to catcher.

Bob Davis == Bobby Bonilla & Glen Davis (NOT Bob Knepper and Storm Davis!)
