I like this idea and the r.s.b.f.wanted idea also.  It would get more
discussion about rules going.  I'm always interested in how other people
run their leagues.

I agree with both of you.  There is a need to split this group up.
I like the idea of a rules and interpretations group and am definetly in
favor of having a plit between AL and NL.

I see no reason for any split.

There isn't enough discussion of just rules to merit a new group.

We could ask people to put AL or NL in the subject lines so people who
are only interested in one league could look just at them, but I would
bet that most people who read this group are at least somewhat
interested in the happenings of both leagues, so would need to read
both groups anyway.  With the inevitable cross-posting, this could
lead to *more* time spent reading the groups than less...

Just remember that if EVERYONE correctly labelled the subject line one could
search for whatever one needs:

This would help do away with this breakup discussion that will waste bandwidth
for the next couple of weeks.

If you want to "do away with" (read: censor) the discussion there's
a simple solution: killfile.
