>Hey, Hornet fans, out of curiosity, what is Scott Burrell's stock like in the
>organization these days? Any chance he'll become a player?
Allan Bristow has indicated he plans on using Burrell as the starter
at small foward this year. His defense and potential rebounding are
good, and he is also a good passer. The Hornets always speak of his
intangible ability to "make things happen".They are high on him.
He is my personal favorite on the Hornets since ZO and LJ have
been appropriated by every grocery-bagger in America.Of course
if the Hornets manage to swing Grant or Manning,LJ will be moved
to SF.However,if Burrell continues to improve and curb his shot
selection,he could still get 20-25 minutes a game, since LJ would
log time starting at SF and backing up Grant(if he signs).I really
like Burrell and see him as the kind of solid player that can
blend well with the megamoney guys.Hope he stays a Hornet.
