If Fletcher's shoulder is still hurting, this could be Tim Naehring.
Naehring will probably see a reasonable amount of time split between
2B and 3B at any rate, as Fletcher shouldn't play more than 130-140
games at his age.

Not Blodly Likely. this is the one spot on the team that's still up
for grabs, but Zupcic is the *least* likely candidate to become a
starter. In fact, he may not make the roster at this point. The most
likely starter here is Billy Hatcher, though it probably *ought* to
be Greg Blosser. A Blosser/Hatcher platoon is a possibility. Butch
may also play "outfielder-of-the-day" with Blosser, Hatcher, and Lee
Tinsley. It looks like the Sox' 5 OFs will be Greenwell, Nixon,
Hatcher, Tinsley, and Blosser, as McNeely and Stairs have already been
sent down. If they decide to send Blosser down, Zupcic will probably
stick. But not as a starter.

These guys have both been sent down, which leaves Cooper as the backup
1B. When Mo needs a day off, Cooper will move to 1B and Naehring will
play 3B.

May be sent down. If they keep three catchers, it looks like a coin
flip as to whether the third will be Flaherty or Berryhill, but I'd
bet on Flaherty.

Will *not* play CF this year except in emergency. Both Tinsley and
Zupcic are better defensive players in CF.
Either Jeff Richardson or a kid named Munoz will make the team as a
utility infielder; probably Richardson, since Butch likes him.
