Req: Input for Fantasy baseball software

Post by Pheno » Mon, 01 Feb 1999 04:00:00

Hello,

I am looking for input from participants and commissioners on what sort of
things you would be interested in seeing in a Fantasy Baseball software
package.  I am planning on starting with the logical and conceptual design
of the package, but before I begin the coding and developing, I would like
some feedback.

Being a commissioner of a fantasy league myself, I have not seen a whole lot
out there, and generally develop an Access database to track the league.  I
sense that there is a lot of frustration with the current choices and would
like to try to come up with something.

In terms of a timetable, I have no intentions on trying to meet any
deadlines for this season.  However, with some positive contributions from
folks like yourself, I would try to get things out in beta as soon as I
could.

this newsgroup.

Thanks,

Phenom

I am writing a fantasy software pakcage and I hope to be done by March 1,
and test it out during spring training.  What are your exact needs of the
software package?  Basically put the needs of yer own then ouput from the
rest of the people.

You might want to check out FantasyEdge Auction and Draft software for
ideas. It is new, and I really think it is the best I've seen:
