Did anyone notice the Knicks lose at home to Heat???

Not only did the Knicks lose on their home court to the Heat...but they
were BLOWN AWAY as badly as any team has been beaten yet this year....AND
HERE'S THE CLINCHER....THE KNICKS PLAYED THEIR STARTERS THE ENTIRE 4TH
QUARTER AGAINST THE HEAT'S SCRUBS (KEITH ASKINS, ISAAC AUSTIN, ETC...) in
an apparent attempt to try to keep the score within 20 points.  AND GUESS
WHAT..... THE HEAT'S BENCH BLEW THE KNICKS STARTERS AWAY TOO!!!!!   Even
with Ewing, Starks, LJ, Childs, and Oakley in there against a bunch of
players nobody ever heard of...the Knicks were being dissected and eaten
for lunch!!  Somebody tell me I'm dreaming....but some guys
in this newsgroup still keep posting that the Knicks are the team to beat
in the EAST!!  GET REAL..!!  The Knicks better watch out or they won't
make the PO's.

~~~This was just a BAD game for the Knicks.  The Knicks just aren't
playing up to their potential.  They don't have the desire, they're not
playing well together, and the Heat are.  The Heat also have a vastly
better coach! ;)  I really don't think the Knicks can compare to the Heat
this season, even though the Heat really only have 3-4 good players.
Despite this, the Heat are just a WAY more together team.
        But like I said, the Knicks aren't playing as well as they should,
yet they ARE still at .600.  That's a prety good record, even though the
Knicks seem to look so lousy.  They'll make it easy into the playoffs, but
yup....they sure ARE NOT the team to beat in the east.  It's sooo early in
the season, and they will improve, but they really aren't aren't doing SO
bad right now.  So don't get all RILED up!
Stop booing Riley.....it doesn't matter what you Knicks fans do.  Just
face it......The Knicks are no match for Riley and the Heat this year!
I don't know that the Heat played all that well in this game.  They
looked pretty lost on offense, but were bailed out by shooting
60-70% on 3 pointers.  When the Knicks would front Mourning, the
offense would break down, they'd have no idea what to do.  Then
Tim Hardaway decided he was the only player allowed to touch teh
ball because he had some point to prove about Chris Childs.
What won the game for them (besides the 3 pt shooting) was taking
NY out of their offense completely.  NY had no idea what to do when
they couldn't get the ball to Ewing in his favorite spots.  Unlike
Miami, their shooters couldn't bail them out.
I would have liked to have seen what Pat Reilly could have done with the
group of players that are on the Knicks now.
It would be interesting to see what Riley (note spelling) could do
with some offensive players.  Sure, he ran showtime in LA, but
then again, he had Magic Johnson running the game on the floor.  In
NY, he ran an extremely primitive offensive scheme and things don't
look much different in Miami.  This may, of course, be due to a lack
of offensive players.
It'd be fun to see what Pat would do with a bunch of no defense
scorers.  I'm sure he'd get them playing better D, but what would
happen when they had the ball?
Definitely an ignorant fool who thinks ONE game is the measure of a whole
team throughout the whole year.
No, the Knicks have sucked pretty much every game this year so far.
What's their record against teams playing .500 or over ball? I've
seen them several times (once in person) and was really disappointed
each time. One can only hope they put it together before the playoffs.
Fun Fact...
Bulls w/ Longley: 11-1.
Bulls w/o Longley: 6-1.
Bulls w/ Luc Longley: Simply Awesome.
Bulls w/o Luc Longley: Simply Like The Knicks.
