Norm Stewart says the hogs aren't as strong as they once were.  What is
that about.  His team only scored 13 points in the first half and got the
score ran up on them in the second half by the second and third string.
The number one team in the nation didn't beat Missouri by 29.  I guess he
is pretty lucky they aren't that strong or he would have lost by 100.

I'd take it as an indication of how good he thinks his *own* team is. I
wish I could say that I was sorry about their decline but I'm really
not.

I watched the game, and frankly I thought Arkansas had one of the
weakest- looking performances of a team winning by 30 I've ever seen.
They didn't shoot especially well, they turned it over a lot with
ridiculous passes, they take poor shots, etc.  Missouri has worse
players, worse coaching and are worse at the above problems that Arkansas
had, but that doesn't make the Hogs a top 15 team.  Of course, I'm in a
bad mood because of the KU-Maryland game and certain NFL games, but I
just don't see Arkansas as a major player on the national level this
year.  And is Derek Hood going to learn a single offensive move before he
graduates?  Watching him try to work with his back to the basket, it
seemed like Kareem Reid would be more dangerous in that situation.
