De La Hoya vs Trinidad Not Done!

The editors of Fightnews.com will be waking up today with egg all over their
face as boxingpress.com reports that De La Hoya vs Mosley is not a done deal.
Once again Fightnews got caught reporting rumors which for them is becomming a
habit. Haven't these guys ever heard about checking the sources before they
print a story. I bet you that Fightnews get their information from the cleaning
lady at Top Rank. And their news is just that garbage! Thank you Boxingpress
for not reporting news before its time. At least we have one credible source
for news reporting.

Just as TSC & most newspapers said yesterday when they quoted
Bob Arum: It's *not* a done deal. Arum *said* he'll have it in June on
the 10th or 17th. But until it's in writing and signed by both, we can't
know for sure that it will happen.

Strange - the L.A. Times reported the same "rumor."  I don't
see them with egg all over their face.  Does this mean the L.A. Times
is not a good source, that they are not to be trusted?  And who's to
say that any other reporting medium is "right" where another is
"wrong."

Frankly, I believe anything until I see the actual fight on my
TV screen.

Mel

Check your subject before you post.  You sound like a troll bashing Fightnews
for being inaccurate when you can't even get your subject correct.  Fightnews
says they got their information from the Las Vegas Review Journal and a
statement at a Bob Arum press conference.  Of course the fight deal could fall
through, this is boxing where no fight is a sure thing until both fighters are
in the ring.

BoxingPress.com also reported that Arum said Mosely and De La Hoya would fight.

The Headline Read as follows:

DE LA HOYA V MOSLEY DONE DEAL!
They didn't say maybe or perhaps.
These guys report shit all the time. Are you really surprised when the editor
uses the name TSC in this thread and then something else somewhere else.

There form of reporting is lets throw any shit out there and see what sticks.
Look at the fighters they write about most of the time. Now really, have you
ever heard of these ***in guys and do we realy give a ***.

They should change their name to Trashnews.com. Picked up any trash lately?
Send it to us we print anything, if were wrong we'll keep correcting yhe story
until eventually we get it right. And btw with a guy by the name of flattop, do
you really take these guys seriously anyway?

No, he sounds like an employee of Boxingpress trying to drum up attention to their
site by criticizing competitors.  Seems pretty obvious to me.
