I thought you were supposed to be quieter after Holyfiled refused to sign the
contract to fight Lewis.  Sounds like you're getting louder instead of quieter.

Come on now lets be fair.  When Lewis lost that humilating lose to
McCall, Lewis who had to start over could have just retired with the
million he already had.  Instead Lewis showed heart in not being a
quiter.  Lewis has shown Heart when he publically challenged the most
feared man at the time in the heavies, Riddick Bowe.  Lewis showed us
gutts and heart when he signed to fight Golota... a match he had no
reason to take.  Lewis showed us heart when he got rocked in his Briggs
bout, but went back to his game plan and destroyed Briggs.  I can go on
and on, I really can, but would it get threw your haed?  Would you
change your opinion?  Nope, can't see it.

I agree with most of what you said in this post, except this.  I think
that it wasn't heart that wouldn't allow him to quit, but rather the will
to be the best - something a lot of the top heavyweights of today don't
seem to have.  He knew that he got careless and blew it and wanted to come
back and prove that he wasn't the boxer that lost that fight.  I guess
that's a fine distinction though, and depends on how one defines 'heart'.

I think this had to do with heart and what I said above.  Holyfield used
to be my number one guy, but Lewis has since overtaken him.  Lewis really
seems to be the only heavyweight willing to step up against absolutely
anybody.

My take on Lewis is this:  He has all the tools and is so talented that he
gets a bit lazy and careless, which is what happened with McCall and
Briggs.  Up until (and if) he fights Holyfield he has relied on natural
talent alone to win, an example being the Briggs fight where he didn't
seem terribly fit. He won't be able to beat Holyfield that easily
though, and I think that he knows this.  If Holyfield ever gets
up the courage to fight him, we'll see Lewis at his best and alot of
doubters will change their minds - as I have.

Just admit it Chico Paz is your hero.  And not just because he married a
centerfold.  Your admiration of Pamela Lee is sickening dude :>

You got that right, Nelson.

Paz is one of my all-time favorite fighters (he's up there with Hearns
and Nunn-  just behind Arguello).

Heck,  I probably like Paz almost as much as you like John "The Quiet
Man" Ruiz (BTW,  your admiration for Ruiz-  THAT is sickening).

Alejandro,  no offense, bro-  but your definition of "my man" isn't the
same as mine.

NOTE:  Not that there's anything wrong with your definition (see:
Seinfeld).

I dont like him im just sympathetic to the cause of the Quiet Man.
Anyone that can come back and be a contender after suffering a devastating
KO like that from my boy the Terminator deserves some credit.  I honestly
dont like him that much just more than i like Byrd and Donald :>
