Anyone else enthused about this one? I think this an even matchup and
the winner will be in line for big fights.

Soto was actually supposed to fight PacMan last month but Barrera got
the gig after the last-minute rapprochement between Top Rank and
Golden Boy.

I had assumed the co-feature would be the Cotto-Mosley replay but
apparently HBO will instead showcase the Olympian Abner Mares.

According to the above link, the replay of Cotto-Mosley will be at 9:45 PM
Saturday night, along with the Joan Guzman-Humberto Soto card.  The run-time
on the card is 3 hours!

Thanks. HBO's website lists the 2 live fights but doesn't mention the
replay.

3 hours? I'm not sure I have enough beer to last that long!

Recently I've been having a problem getting enthused over any fight pitting
two hispanics against one another. Fights are much more enjoyable to me when
the contestants are not the same race. It's boring to watch two guys
fighting that look like each other and have similar names - Especially when
it's pits two lousy fighters..It's like going out to see a movie called "The
Werewolf vs The Werewolf" instead of "Frankenstein vs The Werewolf".
