Ruiz vs Jones betting...

I was surprised to see the Vegas casions have Jones a heavy favorite. I
mean, *I* do think he'll win, but I would assume the majority of people
would go with the conventional wisdom that Ruiz is too big and strong and
yadda-dadda...

Has a light heavyweight ever been a beeting favorite going into a fight
against a heavyweight?

...pablo

PS: I did put some money on Jones. I see him winning a very forgettable
fight on points or by DQ

Conventional wisdom??? big and strong??

Try FAT and STUPID

The majority of people are smarter than you think. They see John Ruiz
for exactly what he is...

A BUM.

It is still very early in the game. As you know, the sports books in the
casios adjust the odds as money comes in--it is truly a popularity contest,
with bettors voting with their bets.

Any idea of what the line is for the fight *not* happening???

We are talking about a great light heavyweight vs. a "top ten" heavyweight
(despite the fact he has a belt).
