Why isnt Forrest fighting DLH?

Forrest's fight in January is great, but obviously
the best possible fight for him is with DLH. Forrest is
tall and strong and would have no problems moving
up in weight.

What is curious is that Forrest is not making any
noise calling DLH out. Beating Forrest would truly
make Oscar an all-time great, so this fight is ideal
for both guys. So the question is why they are not
trying to make it happen...

He probably isn't fighting ODH because he'd beat him. Give me 12 moths I'd
beat him to. 110 press ups a day, at around 147 lb few could handle my body
shots since I never fluctuate between the daily fight that life is

DLH wants revenge against the guys who beat him. But I agree, he would lose
to Forrest, and I believe that he will lose to Mosely again as well. But he
can get a fight with Trinidad,  then I would like DLH.

I think you should rephrase that, the question should be why isn't DLH
fighting
Forrest, i have no doubt Forrest would jump to the challenge, the fight
in January shows Forrest will fight anybody in his division.

Oscar wants to beat the two guys he has losses agains't although he
didn't lose to Trinidad, he wants to get victory's from Trinidad an
Mosley which would then set up a superfight with either Forrest or
Hopkins, then allowing him to retire.

Forrest has said in the past that he wants to unite the 3 main belts in
his division and become undisputed champ a la Hopkins and Tszyu before
moving up.

De La Hoya is very picky about who he fights, and he can afford to be. A
match with him is a mega payday for his opponent even if he only gets a
fraction of Oscar's money.

While he says he wants to avenge his defeats, he also wants to limit his
fights to those he thinks he can beat. Mosley is on that list, Forrest isn't
.

Oscar has shown he will ignore any calling out from anyone, so Forrest is
probably right in concentrating on Mayorga for now. Once he unifies the
welterweight title he can move on.

But I would bet that Oscar will never fight Forrest.

Point #1 De La Hoya is already an all-time great having beaten all time
greats Chavez and Whitaker in his roll to Canestota.
Point #2 goodness who on Earth really wants to watch a Forrest fight.  His
style on it's own merit should be illegal with all the grabbing and
clinching.  A significant punch every 60 seconds or so...zzzzzzz.

Why? because Forrest sucks. Hes got no personality and theres nothing
great about him all he did was beat a highly overrated Shane Mosely
prior to those fights he fought a bunch of tomato cans.

Nobody even knows who Forrest is if he were to fight Oscar people with
think Oscar is fighting a bum.
