Oh, man. What do you say about that?

Those poor, poor guys...! (I don't have the stomach for boxing
anymore!)

Another loss for Freddie Roach. Also, if I heard correctly, the guy
who lost in the undercard fight (an even better fight, or at least at
least as good by the way), he is also a Wildcard Gym fighter.

Not to wallow in anyone's misery, but - Linares, Khan (twice), Chavez
Jr., Pac-Man (twice - well, once, really) - and now this. There is no
denying that's a lot of loosing, though I think the "random" factor is
pretty big in all of this.

bradley may have won but based on the beating he took i think he
should consider retirement

Bradley's case is tricky. He didn't do bad against Pac-Man, although
in my book Pac-Man won big. In his previous fights, he (Bradley) has
shown great stuff. And what does he get? Disrespect and ridicule after
the Pac-Man bout, and in this all-out war, a half empty-arena! If he
wants respect, he should perhaps work on his self-respect... As for
money, for such a determined and level-headed youngster, there should
be tons of ways to support his family. (Although, as for money, it
remains to be seen if this fight gets the fans on their feet for his
next bout.) Sometimes things just don't work out, and he should not
interpret that as he is a lesser boxer or fighter, because obviously,
he isn't.

You might remember that I was very impressed by the undercard fight
(or "co-featured bout", if there is a difference), namely Jessie
Vargas vs. Wale Omotoso. I've seen that fight again, and I'm even more
impressed this time. By both boxers, but the most by Jessie Vargas.

He has a very solid, rapid, and accurate jab on the outside. On the
inside: uppercuts and hooks to the body, ducking as defence. I often
say this or that boxer isn't the way I like boxers to be. So let me
say this: Vargas is *exactly* the way I think a boxer should be!

He doesn't move his head a lot on the outside, but I don't really see
how this could work for him (without screwing up his jab offence *and*
defence).

On YT, you may see (at least) three complete fights: Estrada, Lopez,
and Martinez. (Yes, the Lopez of the Ortiz and Alvarez fights.)

I didn't know about Vargas, so please share any information :)
