I have a friend who acquired an early Kersenbrock cue, and wants it
authenticated.  I can't seem to find an address, phone #, or e-mail for him.
You guys are an amazingly hip bunch ( you have Jack Justis and Jim Buss
talking about bull ***es), so I figured one of you would know.  Thanks in
advance for your anticipated help.

The last I heard, David was working with Ed Young in Chicago.  The
last number I have for Ed is 312-519-2505

Since there is a six year wait for Southwests and DPK cues are considered to
be as good, and Kersenbrock taught Jerry Franklin how to make cues...... why
can't David Kersenbrock make cues under his own name and get his own six
year waiting list?

He probaly could get a longer waiting list than six years if he really wanted to
do that kind of thing.
I dont think he wants to spend a lot of time working on cues now.
I think he wants to slow down and enjoy the golden years.

It is my understanding that David is making high end cues under his own name
and has quite a waiting list. He is just working out of Ed's shop just as he
did with Jerry and Omega.

Oh.  Okay.  It's just weird that he doesn't have his own place.  Maybe
that's the smartest thing.

He isn't? I've got a friend in my area that has a Kersh. Not a DPK, or a
Southwest. I assumed he's been making them under his own name.

That's what I didn't know.  All the ones I have ever seen have been
DPK/Omega cues.  I just thought that with a six year wait for SW that
Kersenbrock would be turning away business at his own shop.

Dave was one of my mentors! He is capable of doing absolutely outstanding
work, but he needs a keeper!
