want to buy: used ball sets

Post by Aaron Foste » Sun, 05 Jan 2003 07:50:18

I am interested in finding sources of used billiard balls.  I would prefer
to find one or two sources for multiple sets... I could possibly be
interested in a large number of sets.  If you have a source for these please
contact me at:

Thanks.

Were you after cheap or collectible?  Playable?  Complete?

All of that exists on ebay (not that I have anything to do with
them)...

Cheap is important... playable is not, although I am not sure what a
nonplayable set would look like... they do not need to be complete.  I am an
artist and am working on a few pieces that include pool balls, such as lamps
(drilling those things is a pain!).  Concerning ebay... that is where i have
gotten the sets I am currently using but I would much rather find a
consistent supplier that can always help me out... you never know when some
nut is going to be willing to pay 5 times the going rate for a set and it
can be hard to keep the supply constant.

There is an importer in Los Angeles that can deliver a set to
your door that looks just like Aramith Super Pros for $30
including shipping.  The balls are made in China.  Perhaps they
have even cheaper sets.  They seem to be on eBay all the time.
