She stopped by Hard Times during the L.A. Expo.  I enjoyed watching her
play.  She's very methodical but... God, boring.  There's no pizzazz to her
game, unfortunately.  I'd rather see less perfection and more fun.

You enjoy boring?  I'm missing something here.

G. -  actually does enjoy watching her

<G> I was going to tease Jennifer about the "She's very methodical but...
God, boring" part. You only use "but" when you're contradicting something.
By definition most people would use methodical as a symptom of being bored.
JEEZ! I'm turning into one of my freakin' editors!

Careful mate! You're talking about the woman I love <G>

Tom <-- Can say he's in love with Allison Fisher because his wife knows that
if he had the night with Allison he'd spend it all playing pool and picking
her brain

Uh oh. You don't work for Microsoft Press do you? <G>

What can I say? I'm used to editors picking every word and sentence of mine
apart so much that I've begun (began? See what I mean?!) to pick everything
I see also.Well I finished my book today and being my usual self have
started another.

Tom <- Always says "Let me finish this project and I'll stop for a while".
Then he immediately tackles another project (sigh)

re: Allison
Gerda stopped Allison's 62 consecutive top 5 finishes by besting her 9-4 on
the one loss side to put her out. Jeanette put her on the one loss side by
steamrolling her 9-2. Allison was not playing her usual game. Understandable
with the recent loss of her father, and her mother's presence there in VF.
I'm 100% certain that she'll spring back and that this was just an anomaly.
Congrats to Karen and my favorite - Laura Smith who finished a very
respectable 9th and almost managed to get by Gerda. Next time.

Adios,

Pizza Bob

Damn! I lost my father last year so I know first-hand that it can be
extremely disruptive to your mental approach to many things.

Let's not forget the woman is also running the WPBA.

This is an incredible commitment of time and energy.

I'm amazed she can even compete-----let alone finish in the money.

Otto

Let's see what happens to Earl's game when he has to spend 27 hours a day
running the MPBA. I give Allison an incredible amount of credit for taking
her "time in the barrel" to advance her profession. I find it very
admirable. I would like to see Jeanette Lee step up and take over the
reigns.

Now if we could get Nick Varner or Mike Sigel or Earl Strickland or
????????? you name any of a dozen guys to put their own agenda aside and
step to the plate---the game could advance. Until then, the ladies will eat
their lunch.

Actually, she's not the Pres. anymore, her term has ended now.  It wasn't
over  when her Father became ill, however.  She has definitely had a full
plate over the past year or so!
