Chris Hightower refers to this book in his own book, but says copies are
very hard to come by.

I read the Kersenbrock manuscript about 6 years ago. It wasn't an
elaborate book with detailed procedures but more of a collection of
thoughts on various aspects of cue making. It did have some interesting
insights on a few things but for the most part it wasn't very detailed
nor technical. In fact, if I recall the were some parts that were a
little excentric. All in all I think it would be neat to have if only
from a collectors stand point.

I have a copy of it and I must say, some of it borders on the insane. Do you
remember some of the crazy stuff, like talking to the wood?

I'll try to remember to ask Ed Young, Dave's partner, next time I see
him at the pool hall.

I dont know if that is so crazy.
When I am making a cue for a specific person or doing repair work, I try to
think of that person running rack after rack with the cue I am working on. If
our thoughts can carry enegry that can be transfered to something then why not
make it a good energy.
I can not recall exactly where I got this idea but ..... hey .... what can it
hurt.
