The nine ball rules are going to be the basic nine ball rules that all of us
are used to playing with the following particulars:

                        1.Break from the box
                       2. No soft breaks
                       3. the 9 Ball is racked on the spot
                       4. We're using the Sardo rack
                       5. No jump cues

I guess my Joe Ezell break/jump cue will either stay home or stay together.
I am going to have a personal tournament with my Predator Break cue and the
Joe Ezell Break/jump cue in the next few days.

Anyone else on RSB coming to the tournament besides:
Smorgass Bored
Grady
JoeyA

It is $40,000.00 ADDED and pays DEEP.  Besides it is just a bunch of old
guys who can't see very well anymore.

Seeing all of these giants of the pool world in one room is worth the price
of admission.  It is far better for your game than buying a video tape,
IMHO.

Can't go.  I just wish I were old enough to make the entry requirements and
play with you old farts.

What Happened Too Good Ole 9-Ball??
1.Break from the box: what happened to break behind the head string?
too easy?
2. No soft breaks: drive 5 balls to the rail.... right?
3. the 9 Ball is racked on the spot: what happened to the 1 being on
the spot?
4. We're using the Sardo rack: is that why we have to rack the 9 on
the spot?
5. No jump cues: I agree there should be limits on a jump cue.... but,
the reason there is no money is pool..... is because it is really
boring to watch... unless you know a lot about pool... like in
golf.... if someone hits the ball from 175 yards out.... and gets it
10 feet from the hole.... everyone knows ..... that was a good
shot....
The jump cue adds e***ment to the game.....
From what I have noticed, the only time the crowd gets e***d is when
the 9 goes on the break, someone shits a ball in and when someone
makes a good jump shot....
I was sitting in the stands at a pro event .... and a player missed a
relative easy shot, trying to play position... the guy sitting near me
said "damn, I could have made that shot" .... oh well..

In a few months I will be old enough to play.... I will give it a
shot... any tournaments planned for Oct. ?
