NEW predator 314's for meucci

NEW predator 314's for meucci

Post by Andrea Vomord » Thu, 23 Oct 1997 04:00:00

I have a meucci 95-8 (now called a CL-8). I got it because of the
flexible shaft, but now I want a stiffer shaft, with less defelction
such as the predator (which I have used before and found it to be
considerably more accurate than any shaft on the market). Anyway, I
noticed that predator sells the 314 shaft with different insert threads,
one version which matches meucci, seems ok, But upon talking to some
people I heard a few things:
        1. The diameter of the joint collars not always match (which may or may
not affect your shooting)
        2. The joint might line up slightly off center.
        3. It is better to send in your stick and a shaft made custom...however
this both costs more and keeps your stick from you
for up to months (yes..Months)
Can someone clear up these points, or give me stories of similiar
experiences.
        ANY help will be useful...thanks

                        Instead of to usenet...thank you
