Does anyone have the link for the post that Neils allegedly made on RSB?

I couldn't find it and wanted to see the post in his words.
thanks,

JoeyA,

http://azbilliards.com/2000storyb.cfm?storynum=683

"Niels Feijen is one of the top players in The Netherlands this weekend for the
4th Open Weert 9-Ball Championship.

"While preparing for the event, Feijen accomplished something that many top
players may never come close to. In a 'challenge match' against French player
Donald Du Bois, Feijen broke and ran 15 consecutive 9-ball racks on a
regulation 4 1/2 X 9' table.

"Niels brought up the question of whether there are documented accounts of any
players stringing together more racks than this in tournament or private play."

I don't know about anyone else, but I'd have to read some real
reliable documentation on that one.  If there's any truth to it,
perhaps it was on an easy table with 5" corner pockets and new cloth;
or perhaps he broke in the 9 mulitple times.  You'd have to check with
Jewett, but the odds for running 15 racks of 9 ball from the break
have to be real similar to the Louisiana Powerball Lottery:  Just
about impossible.  On second thought, Joey A just might be a candidate
for that accomplishment (the pool, not the lottery).  Y'all will just
have to come over to the Corner Pocket in Kenner, LA on Oct. 11 to see
him in action!

About the Corner Pocket Tournament, I hear you got your entry fee just under
the wire.

Last night they were down to three spots.  I wouldn't be a bit surprised if
there are now NO spots left open by tonight.

It should be a good time.  With a race to FIVE, anyone can win.

FTR, the owners are contemplating payouts of eight places.  Wish it were
paying only three spots. ;-)

I wish it were 16-24 so more people could get a taste of the Pie,
guess I'll have to bid high and wise in the calcutta.  I keep having
dreams to join the dark side, really scary.

So you're doubting the fact it ever happened?  The only incorrect
thing stated in the AZBilliards-article is that the guy wasn't a
French guy called "Donald Du Bois" but just a young talented Dutch
player called Don Du Bois. Niels shot the 15 racks... No doubt about
it.

In a small pool-society like the Netherlands such lie wouldn't last
very long.

Regards,
Mario  <--- Also knows the 15 racks where ran in just a regular
poolhall (Don't know about the age of the cloth.)

But Mario, can't you even tell us the number of hours that the cloth has
been played on?  This possibly could tell us whether or not the 15 racks are
worthy of consideration as a record.  Cloth wear and age plays such an
important part in determining whether a person could actually run 15
consecutive racks of nine ball.

Casey, I doubt that you will be bidding high in the Calcutta but do hope
there is a blind bid so you can bid REAL HIGH and then you can show us how
wise you truly are and just how much money you like to bid in the Calcuttas
that pay less than 25% of the field.

I know one thing, I am going to buy both Ray Capella and you in the
Calcutta.

The tournament is SOLD OUT!!!!

JoeyA (thinks Casey needs rest because following the leader means that you
are getting tired).

Oops,

I'm terribly sorry... You are right Joey! Shooting 15 racks on a table
with new cloth and 5" pockets is way too easy. Most of us can do that!

I'm not sure about the circumstances Niels shot his high run, but I do
know it was just in a regular poolhall, so I guess the cloth wasn't
brand new. (Suffered at least a few days of playing time.) So it must
have been an intermediate challenge!

With kind regards,
Mario <--- *BURP*

I've followed the leader all my life, now I know why I'm always
tired.  I'm buying "GALAHAD" and any Dogs in the Tournament.  I've got
$100 to spend in the Calcutta and all of it goes.  Gotta go now,
getting tired.  Doug, send me some money for the calcutta, we can buy
all the (Hogs) in the (Dog) tournament.
