I will see you guys on some of the other forums... Come join me on
AZBilliards if you are tired also...

Yeah sure like you are never ever again gonna look and see if anyone is
talking about you here on RSB.

Just more drama.

Bye Bye.

I'm not aware of any kind of law that says you can't post to more than one
group, or monitor/lurk on as many as you want.  I've been enjoying the
relative lack of bullshit on AZBilliards board for the past few days, but I
plan to continue watching RSB to see if it makes a comeback.  I still plan
to post over here once in awhile, and I'm sure John does also.

Sure , but some just need a dramatic exit.
Going quitely is not their way.

I post on AZ, CCB, and Inside Pool, as well as RSB. I do not bother
with ASP, and I'm quickly losing interest in RSB.

We at RSB have definitely taken on a different complexion over the past few
weeks and months.  I'm not sure Jim Meador would have stuck around for this!
I really miss those days and the discussions we had.  Even the arguments
were head and shoulders above the level we've dropped to recently.

That's rich... Willee telling someone else they're being dramatic.

Gotta say, I'm starting to agree with that. I've posted off and on
here for eight years, though I've done vastly more reading than I have
posting. At various times, I have enjoyed reading the insights of Lou
Figueroa, Bob Jewett, Ron Shepard, and many others. There were
definitely arguments between different people, but they mostly seemed
pool-centered. In the last six months I've noticed the increasing
trend toward juvenille, ad hominem attacks and self-aggradizing or
narcissistic postings. A handful of people have overrun this newsgroup
and really forced out the people who had valuable opinions to offer.

It's enough to make you wish that RSB was (gasp) moderated!

I for one would like to see RSB moderated.
Surprised?
I am a member of a number of moderated groups and have no problems on them.
Perhaps it is not such a Willee problem after all.
When you are not picked on by professional agitators then there is not much
reason to pick back.

You must purge the board of yap wolf and his, her *** deviates and

Bob, you have got to be kidding.  The arguments of years past were just as
vicious, *** and unwarranted as today.  No one needs to tell the group
they are leaving - just leave.  Particiaption is voluntary and subject to no
requirements.

I wholeheartedly concur.  I also participate in several moderated groups and
have intersting and educational dialog without flames or stalking.
