This has been particularly frustrating tonight.  For the last couple of
hours when I have tuned in, they show somebody practicing.  Then the link to
chat (as well as others are gone), so there is no way to get information on
what is going on.  from the feed it is impossible to figure out why we're
watching nothing when there must be 1-pocket matches going on.

Are you saying you missed Efren vs Jimmy Wetch, and Efren vs Ralf?  Efren
shot a perfect 7 racks, and then Ralf shot a near perfect run to beat him!
Fun to watch!  As far as links being missing, you might try pressing f5 to
refresh, and log on again.

I prefer it to ESPN's coverage of pool.  From what I saw every game in the
set was shown - every ball shot was shown.  The commentators were always two
knowledgeable champions.  The coverage was LIVE.

I will take a grainy BCN/Accu-Stats broadcast on my computer EVERY DAY over
ESPN's spoon fed watered down crapola and their staged events.

I hope another cable channel picks up pool and let's BCN/AccuStats do the
production.  Even then I would rather be able to watch it on my computer.

Me too.  Production values were a lot lower than ESPN -- grainy feed,
camera staring at an empty table for long stretches, untrained
commentators figuring out what to talk about next, etc. -- but the
complete and knowledgable presentation of the matches more than made up
for all of that.

If I never see another "pocket cam" shot or cut away from a good battle
to show somebody on the next table making an easy 9-ball or simply skip
half the match because ESPN thinks only the "money ball" is relevant,
it'll be too soon.

While I certainly meant what I said in my post, above in this thread, it was
posted on Wednesday and didn't show up until Saturday.  I have no idea why.

I have been going through withdrawals since the conclusion of that string of
three beautiful 9 ball matches (2 980s & a 1000).  I hope it was enough of a
success for BCn that we see more "real soon."
