M8 Pool League, Any info on this league?

Post by Michael Richardso » Mon, 14 Apr 2008 05:51:42

I'd like to hear from anyone who has any info on this league, is it any
good, is it playing in your area, is it legit?
Any stories would be appreciated. I have a friend who is going to try to
bring it to my area and I suggested that he should look at VNEA instead
since it's much better established league.

M8 is mostly located in Minn/Wis  I think most of the leagues are around
the Twin cities.  There is some discussion about it on the mnbilliards
forum page but you'd have to scan a lot of posts about other things to
find the M8 stuff.  I wasn't aware they had branched out to other parts
of the country.  I haven't heard anything negative about them but you
may find more at mnbilliards.com.

It looks like the forum has a search facility so you can pickout some
posts on M8 and get a flavor for what people think about it.

Thanks Pat,
A buddy of mine whom is the captain of the APA nine ball team I play on said
that he had a friend who has a friend that owns this league now and had an
opportunity to start a league at no cost to himself so he's drummimg it up
around town and I asked if he knew anything about it and had he researched
any other options. Yuo must understand, I live in an area that the people
haven't even heard of VNEA or BCA, they do have TAP in a few places but I
don't think it's been well recieved. Down here, they have to pump the
sunshine in and with all the high water I think the pumps have qiut working,
seriously!
Thanks for the link,
Mike R.
