heh, I hope someone made it! It's over: "Ronnie O'Sullivan clinches his
first world title."

This was a great match to follow via live scoring.  After winning 4 of 6
frames to pull to 13-16, Higgins was on a break of 60 when he gave up the
table, 60-0.  Ronnie must have cleared the balls from there to win the
frame.  In a sick demented way, it was pretty thrilling watching the live
scoring as Ronnie's score climbed to and apparently past 60.  I thought 60
might have been enough to win the frame, but I had no idea how many reds
were off the table.

The previous frame was the reverse, with Ronnie
missing an easy red that would have left Higgins
needing 2 snookers. The Scot made a nice clearance
and for the first time it looked like Ronnie might
have had cause to be worried. But he just got on
with it in the next frame as if it was any other.
Throughout the tournament he looked so relaxed and
yet focussed. If he could maintain that he's pretty
much unbeatable. No-one can beat him at potting and
if anyone had a chance of beating him tactically
surely it was Higgins. Great final anyway, both of
them scoring well when they had the chance and lots
of few-visits frames.
