standard on several of their cues several years ago. I also know that some
current models have calf-skin as standard. This was confirmed from two
people at Viking. One via phone, the other over E-mail:

with calf-skin (phone conversation confirmed CALF SKIN). I also now know
that Jerry works at Viking. Hmmm... I won't believe anything Jerry says from
now on.
My opinion of Viking cues isn't getting any better. Anyone else?
