Below are the results of the US Snooker Association's 1994 Championship,
which ended last Sunday.  David Yao and Tom Kollins will represent the
US in the 1994 World Amateur Snooker Championships in Johannesburg,
South Africa November 12-26.  About 53 countries will participate there.

In the tournament, Yao had the three highest breaks: 85, 81, and 71.

Once again i walked into Pockets 10 minutes late to enter, or my name could
have joined the first round losers:-)

Can someone tell me Mr Yao's World Ranking? (i heard two at the tourney but
figured id better check with more reliable sources) Quite an event, wish
i had joined

I am pretty sure he isn't ranked because:
A) only professional players are ranked  worldwide (kind of)
B) only non-professional players can play in IOBSF tournaments which
   the US championship is, the winner gets a free ticket to the IBSF
   amateur snooker championship played later this year in South Africa
