Geesh, he says something entirely relevant to the group (and even to
another on-going thread) and you have to dis him anyway. He's accused
of having no life, but I find the messages flaming Sam to be far more
pointless and stupid than any of Sam's posts.

Sam may talk a lot, but at least he's polite.

My first (and last) bet this year is that Sam is insane (1/100 odds by the

I wasn't trying to improve Sam's 'game', I was trying to improve his
'STROKE'..............

I have only bet money on pool once and it wasn't on a game but just 1
shot. I was playing a friend who happens to be the coach on our APA
team. I called a shot that he felt was impossible and I told him it
could be done easily. He bet me $20 on it and I made it. I was using
squirt and swerve to make the shot but I didn't know the terms for it at
the time since I wasn't well read on pool and had only been playing for
less than a year. Anyway, I wasn't that nervous about the bet and
betting such a small amount wouldn't make me work that much harder since
I wouldn't feel the loss. I'm always competitive though regardless of
whether there's money on the game or not so betting isn't required for
me. I play every game intensely.
