amateur tournament in las vegas (may/june)?

Post by dodo » Mon, 26 Apr 1999 04:00:00

Hi all,

I read somewhere that there is a big (3000+ players) amateur tournament in
las vegas each year somewhere around may/june.
Any info or link about this tournament would be appreciated. Also I would
like to know if non-USA players are allowed to participate.

Thanks in advance.

Sanne

This amateur tournament(s) are on and around the long weekend in May.  There
are 8-Ball, 9-Ball, Scotch doubles, singles, teams, etc., etc.  It is
sponsored by the V.N.E.A. and there are players from all over the world that
come down for it.  It is held at the Riviera ***.

Michelle is talking about the VNEA tournament, and Ken is talking about
the BCA tournament.  They are different events, both held at the Riviera
in May.
