Sport Today

Here's what I know of the Boston Ultimate action for this weekend. We bagged
(for now) playing out in Newton, and are playing with the "standard" pickup
action at Thorndike fields.  I believe that the stated start time is

1:30. Last week we had 5's (was it 6's?), and the fields were pretty nice. It
should be great this Sunday.  Here are directions, courtesy of Pablo:

The fields are off of Magnolia Street, which is off of Lake Street.

Take the Lake Street exit and head towards Arlington and Massachusetts Avenue.  
Several miles down, on the right, is Magnolia Street.  This is just before a
light (I believe the light is at Brooks Street).  Take the right at Magnolia,
and follow to the end of the street (approximately 3/4 mile).  The fields (and
parking lot) are at the end of the street.

Turn onto Lake Street; this is at a light and a left if heading *away* from
Cambridge.  It's near the Capitol Theater.  Magnolia is a left, after a light
(I believe the light is at Brooks Street).  Take the left at Magnolia, and
follow to the end of the street (approximately 3/4 mile).  The fields (and
parking lot) are at the end of the street.

T Access:
Alewife stop on Red Line.  Follow tunnel under Route 2; at end of tunnel,
there are the fields.
