Healthchex Ultimate locator functional?

Healthchex Ultimate locator functional?

Post by Thomas E Tayl » Tue, 06 Sep 1994 03:39:17

I read here once when Eric originally posted it about the Ultimate
locator service at healthchex.com, and more recently (48 hrs ago) sent

as per the instructions in the FAQ.  I have received neither a bounced
message nor a reply, and healthchex.com does not seem to be on the
Internet, or at least not as a machine host.

Does anybody have more info about this?  I was trying to be a good boy
and not clog the newgroup or the 800 number bill with "where's disc in my
new place of residence?" but it's tough when the e-service seems to be broke.

Please excuse my impatience and scurillous implication that Loring's
excellent server was non-functional.  It did take almost 72 hours to get
the help file, but the turn-around on four different searches was much
better ( < 24 hrs; I'm not exactly sure) and yielded the perfect
information.

Definitely use this service the next time you're looking for Ultimate in a
given locality.

it seems to be either being used a lot or misfiring...
i sent it a search request three weeks ago and then forgot about it.
i just recieved the reply two days ago...maybe its because lots of
people are using it now instead of posting here, so its running
a little (ok a lot ) slow..
i'm sure loring will read these posts and correct it when he has time...
