Goodyear is the sole tire provider for this Series. Junior Hanley, who
finished second, and Eddie Van Meter won the Goodyear Performance Awards.
Scott Hantz finished third, Brent Downey was fourth and Bull Baker
rounded out the top five.
Baker won the Tobacco Depot Pole Award when he averaged 73.409 mph around
the quarter-mile oval on his qualifying run. Joel Kauffman leads the
Series with three races remaining on the 2002 schedule. He holds a
52-point advantage over Hanley.
