Nightlock is an elite club women's team based in the San
Francisco Bay Area. Having just completed our first season
together finishing in the top 10 at Nationals, we are
looking to the upcoming season as an opportunity to continue
to grow and develop both as a nationally competitive team
and as a close-knit group of friends. The fundamental values
of our team lie in improvement (both on a team-wide and
individual level), hard work and dedication, and of course,
having a really freaking good time in the process! Sound
like what you're looking for?? Read on...
*If you have been daydreaming about beating your opponents
in a battle to the death, stop dreaming because the reaping
is upon us. Not everyone has what it takes to volunteer as
tribute, but if you believe you are the next Katniss
Everdeen, then enter your name into the mix and come train
with us for the arena on the following dates:
Apr 14 - Women's Bay Area Mixer (1-5PM in Palo Alto, CA)
Apr 27-28 - Open tryouts / Nightlock mixer
May 11-12 - Invite-only tryouts
May 18-19 - Invite-only tryouts
Jun 1-2 - Cal States Tournament (Santa Cruz, CA) -
Invite-only & final tryout weekend
We have committed to attending the following tournaments
during the 2013 season:
Jun 22-23 - Solstice (Eugene, OR)
Jul 20-21 - Pro-Elite Challenge: Terminus (Atlanta, GA)
Aug 10-11 - Elite-Select Challenge: Colorado Cup (Boulder,
CO)
Late August/Labor Day local tourny (pending)
USAU Series - Regionals (either Sept 21-22 or Sept 28-29),
Nationals (Oct 17-20 in Frisco, TX)
We expect that tryouts can commit to attending these
tournaments in 2013, as well as all practices (exceptions
granted for major personal conflicts). We practice both
Saturdays & Sundays (~4hrs each) from June through October
with about 1 weekend off per month. If you're interested in
trying out, please fill out the following form so we can get
