unicycle bag ?

Post by johnfos » Sun, 17 Aug 2008 21:10:35

For anyone who wants a bag that can hold more than one unicycle, I am
now poised to make custom unicycle bags to order! Our first project was
a Coker-36er bag that can hold two 36" wheels if necessary. Very spiffy!

That's what the bag is for.  :D

In other words, of course. Note that a custom bag will cost more than
the pre-made ones you can buy.

unicycle bag ?

Post by mornis » Tue, 19 Aug 2008 15:08:34

My only complaint on the uni bags is that they have no waist strap (so
all the weight goes straight on your back, making it bad /
uncomfortable / unhealthy to carry for long periods of time), and it
doesn't have padding. Other than that it is really great, and I
definitely hope we will be seeing more peoples designs too.

unicycle bag ?

Here's the solution I found:
[image: http://www.wcfanshop.com/catalog/WH2-14Ovr_thumb.jpg]

It's an oval bag intended for two 26-inch wheels, with a divider
between sides.  It neatly holds my 26-inch Nimbus muni frame and wheel
(with the Duro 26x3" Leopard tire inflated), and on the other side, a
24" wheel with the Maxxis 2.5" Hookworm tire (also inflated).  In the
bottom of the bag goes both sets of crank arms and pedals.  The only
part that doesn't fit is the seat, and I stuff it in with my clothes in
another bag.  It's not as quick as the bag where everything stays
assembled, but for taking a uni plus a smaller wheel on vacation, it
suits me well.
Won it on Ebay for $39 plus shipping...
Here's the company web address for their bike bags:

You might like to take a look at 'this company'
(http://tinyurl.com/5n8378), who do a lot of custom stuff (and know
where to be a.s.a. you need Chineze kids).
Further at the Dutch section of their site they offer 'parts'
(http://www.radicaldesign.nl/nl/kopen/fournituren.php) for sale.
